Royal Society of Chemistry’s Chemistry Olympiad

Congratulations to Upper Sixth students, Alice B and Emma C who have been successful in the first round of the prestigious 2017 Royal Society of Chemistry’s Chemistry Olympiad.  Alice has received a Silver and Emma C has received a Bronze certificate.

South Down East Pony Club

On Saturday 11th March, Alice R, Upper Sixth, represented South Down East Pony Club at a Dengie dressage area final at Merrist Wood in Surrey. She rode 2 lovely tests on Henry and was placed 4th in the Novice class.  Well done Alice.

NSEA Inter School Dressage Competition

On Sunday 5th March, Katie F, Eleanor R & Alice R from Burgess Hill Girls Sixth Form represented the school at an NSEA inter schools dressage competition at Oldencraig in Surrey. Running success!

On Sunday 5 February 2017, Hannah W and Alice B in our Upper Sixth took part in their first ever 10K Race at Goodwood Motor Circuit.  The girls did amazingly well with respective times of 50.38 and 49.24.  Their next challenge is a half marathon at Hampton Court in March!  Good luck girls.
