Burgess Hill Girls Ski Team comprising of Annabel H, Lucy P and Anya K continued to broaden their Ski Racing experience by entering the British Schoolgirls Competition held in Flaine from 28th – 31st January 2017. The standard was extremely high with over 30 schools competing and with 150 racers taking part. The Impulse Instructors spent the day working on the technical aspect of the course and this resulted in the teams best effort being in the Giant Slalom. The team finished in a very creditable 26th place out of 49 teams with Annabel H gaining the highest place of 52nd out of 150 racers, Lucy P was 73rd and Anya K 127th.
An invaluable experience for them all and the girls continued to push themselves hard in the Team Parallel and Individual Slalom.
