Alicia C, Spring K and Caroline W in the Upper Sixth were awarded Bronze certificates in Round One of the 48th International Chemistry Olympiad 2016.
The Round One written tests are completed at the students own schools with papers marked by their own teachers. A demanding 2 hour paper assessed their knowledge and application of Organic and Physical Chemistry with questions based on real-world chemistry problems that often stimulate much debate, raising awareness of what Chemistry is all about providing an opportunity to develop and showcase some of the skills required for studying Chemistry at university and beyond.
We would like to congratulate the girls on this fantastic achievement!
