Maths Association Annual Maths Problem Drive

On Tuesday 8th March a group of nine girls from Year 11 and the 6th Form went to Roedean School to take part in the annual Maths Problem Drive, organised by The Maths Association.
The girls joined 50 other students from Roedean School and Lancing College to solve sets of problems over a series of five rounds. Armed with pencils and calculators the girls had just ten minutes per round to work in teams to solve each set of questions.
After a gruelling evening of problem solving we were thrilled when Teresa F was awarded third prize, and even more excited when the prize turned out to be chocolate that she shared with the rest of the team on the way home! Well done, Teresa!
