Congratulations to Emma C, Upper Sixth, for an outstanding performance in the Royal Society of Biology Olympiad. This is a national competition for Sixth Form students and Emma achieved an excellent Gold Award, meaning she was in the top 6% of all entrants. Her score was also high enough to qualify her for the preliminary round of selection for the British Biology Olympiad team. The competition is known to be very tough so Emma has done extremely well to get to this stage. We wish her well for the next round at the start of March.
It’s a new academic year which means we have said goodbye to some beloved teachers and said hello to new ones. We really hope they enjoy their time here at Burgess Hill Girls and that they settle in well to the Burgess Hill family. We would like to introduce you to our new teachers!…
