The Year 8 Hockey Team represented Sussex at the Regionals In2Hockey Finals held at Woking Hockey Club on Sunday 26th March 2017. Sixteen schools from the South East took part in the competition and the girls played some excellent Hockey throughout the day. They finished third place in the group section drawing 0-0 to Great Marlow and 0-0 to King Edward School and had a narrow 1-0 loss to Surbiton High, the eventual winners.
The team advanced into the Plate Competition with great wins over Oxford High 3-0 and a 3-0 semi-final win over Sir William Borlase. In a tightly contested final against Godolphin and Laymer the girls went down by 2 goals to 0.
