Tomorrow’s Women Conference – Friday 5th July

Sixth Formers at Burgess Hill Girls launch a new conference for ambitious teenage girls in Sussex. The Tomorrow’s Women conference runs from 4.30pm – 7pm on Friday 5th July. Speakers include Rebecca Stephens, the first British woman to climb Mount Everest, environmentalist Clare Osborn, nutritionist and life coach Hannah Richards and radio presenter Izzy Bishop. Free tickets are available for all school girls in Sussex, Year 10 and above. Book your tickets here

The Tomorrow’s Women conference is completely unique in that it has been designed and organised by Sixth Formers at Burgess Hill Girls. Pupils have been involved in organising every aspect of the conference, from deciding the format, to selecting and booking speakers and marketing the event.

One of the organisers, Lower Sixth Former Simi Ramshaw, said:

“We wanted to put on a conference that showcases the women and careers that interest us and that would give us invaluable tips on how we can achieve our dreams and ambitions. Getting involved in organising our first conference has been an amazing experience. We can’t wait for the 5th July.”
