Last Saturday, Head Lars Fox hosted a dinner for parents to come together as a community, socialise and celebrate the complete refurbishment of the dining hall; in addition, initial plans for the redevelopment of the Prep School and Nursery outdoor play and learning areas were shared with parents.
The catering team put on a gourmet meal for over forty guests. We would like to thank the team from the PTA who oversaw the decorating of the venue, ran the bar, provided a DJ for the post-dinner disco, and announced the winners of the silent auction fundraiser at the end of the evening. The auction was in aid of raising additional funds for the new Prep & Nursery play and learning area with prizes including a multi-sport children’s party, hospitality and tickets for a home match at Brighton and Hove Albion, a luxury food hamper, and a racket sport challenge with the Head himself.
Many thanks to everyone who donated prizes or came along and took part in the auction and raffle which raised nearly £4,000. Thanks also to our amazing Sixth Formers who helped us host the evening. Please see the end of this post for some photos of the night.
