Music truly comes alive in the Prep School, and this year’s Christmas concert was no exception. Last night, we had the pleasure of watching an extraordinary showcase of our students’ musical talents, as they filled the air with festive cheer and creativity. From choir performances to orchestral renditions and ensemble pieces, each group demonstrated not only their musical skill but also their enthusiasm and dedication.
The evening opened with a captivating performance by the Orchestra, setting the tone for a magical night. As the concert continued, the audience was treated to a variety of performances, including vibrant group pieces, beautiful choir renditions, and the charming sounds of our recorder and flute ensembles.
The Year 3 students brought a lively, joyful energy to the stage with their playful performances, while Year 4 and Year 5 added their own flair with energetic and festive pieces. Meanwhile, the Choristers and Year 6 delivered powerful, emotional numbers. The Prep Choir, Year 4 Choir, and Year 3 Choir also showcased their remarkable vocal abilities, bringing the festive spirit to life with beautifully executed pieces.
As the evening drew to a close, the Chamber Choir delivered a stunning performance, followed by a heartwarming Prep School Chorus finale.
The concert was not only a wonderful display of musical talent but also a reflection of the dedication and hard work that our students put into their performances. It was a night filled with festive cheer, musical excellence, and, most importantly, a strong sense of community. A huge thank you to all the students, teachers, and families who helped make this evening so special.
