We are thrilled to celebrate an incredible achievement by one of our talented Year 7 athletes, Evelyn, who has officially been confirmed as the number one U13 pole vaulter in the country!
This past weekend, Evelyn competed with outstanding determination and cleared an impressive 2.42m. This remarkable performance not only consolidates her position as the current UK number one but also secures her place on the All-Time U13 list – a phenomenal milestone for such a young athlete.
When asked what she loves about pole vaulting, Evelyn shared:
“It’s such a unique and exciting event and I’m so lucky to be part of such an amazing club.”
Evelyn trains and competes with Lewes Athletics Club, where her hard work and passion for the sport continue to shine. We are incredibly proud of her dedication and success, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this rising star!
