Scrapbook Workshop for Girls in Year 4

Posted: 16th March 2026

On Thursday 23rd April,  Burgess Hill Girls is offering a unique opportunity for girls who love writing, crafting, creating, and who are currently in Year 4 at a school in Sussex.*

The session will run for 90 minutes from 4.30pm finishing at 6.00pm.

The workshop will give every girl the chance to begin creating her very own personal scrapbook, a keepsake they can continue adding to long after the session ends. Using the same collection of craft materials and magazine/card cutting machines used in the school’s popular Scrapbook Club, pupils will explore a hands-on mix of writing, drawing, decorating, and crafting.

The session will begin with each girl creating a page all about herself—a lovely starting point that sets the tone for their scrapbook to become a lasting memory of who they are today. From there, the creativity opens up completely. Pupils will be encouraged to design pages on anything that inspires them, whether that’s sport, music, films, food, make‑up, Harry Potter, Squishmallows, or any of their favourite hobbies and passions.

Although they won’t complete an entire book in one workshop, the aim is to spark a sense of inspiration and ownership. By the end of the session, each girl will leave with a beautifully started scrapbook and the confidence to continue developing it at home if they choose.

If your daughter is in Year 4, not currently at Burgess Hill Girls and would like to take part in this unique workshop please book their place using the form below. If you have further questions, please email natasha.mcgrory@burgesshillgirls.com

*This is a workshop designed for girls who are not currently pupils at Burgess Hill Girls. Current pupils can expect to take part in similar activities as part of the school’s existing creative provision.
