On Tuesday 16th May 2017, Years 3 and 4 had a very exciting visit from author, Kelly Willoughby. She was a student of Burgess Hill Girls along with her sister, Holly. The pair have co-written a book series called ‘School for Stars’.
The girls asked lots of questions about the book series and what it is like to be an author. They were also able to share their own writing that was inspired by the ‘School for Stars’ book series with Kelly giving them great tips and advice.
It was very inspirational and the girls are looking forward to putting the advice into practise for the forthcoming ‘Thinking Skills Competition’ to win a signed collection of the book series by the Willoughby sisters.
