Prospective parents and students are invited to visit our Sixth Form during Open Events at Burgess Hill Girls. Alternatively, we would be happy to arrange individual appointments to visit and meet with the Head of Sixth Form.
If, following your visit, you wish to register an application please complete a Registration Form. You will also be required to arrange payment of the £180 registration fee (inclusive of VAT). Once received we would then arrange for your daughter to join us for a taster day and/or invite her to join us for entrance testing.
Entry Process
If you are not applying for a scholarship then please contact the admissions team, who can arrange entrance testing on an individual basis. This consists of an online cognitive ability test. Then there would be an interview with the Head of Sixth Form. We would also review a school report, predicted grades and a reference as part of an application.
The scholarship assessment process for Year 12 entry takes place every November, for entry in the following academic year.
We are still accepting applications for September 2025 entry. However, the deadline for scholarship applications for September 2025 entry has now passed. If you wish to submit a late scholarship application please contact admissions@burgesshillgirls.com, and we will inform you if this is possible.
Information regarding the scholarship assessment process for September 2026 entry will be published in the summer holidays, but don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions in the meantime.
BOLD Award
Burgess Hill Girls prides itself on being the school for young women who are academically capable, creative, open-minded and curious, and who want to have a positive impact on the social and political world around them. We are also proud of championing the success of girls that join our Sixth Form who are new to the opportunities of independent education.
Our BOLD Award is a dedicated award for girls from state schools, providing for a fully funded place in the Sixth Form. We expect the recipient to have been bold in their own life – forward-thinking, experimental and reaching far beyond what is expected.
