Today we are celebrating a very special milestone with alumna Armorel Gaskell (née Horne), who marked her 100th birthday on 5 June and doesn’t she look absolutely fantastic!
To help celebrate, we were delighted to send Armorel a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and it sounds as though she has been thoroughly spoilt by family and friends.
Her celebrations were made even more memorable with a visit from the Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of Perthshire and Baillie Brock from Perth and Kinross Council, a wonderful honour.
And the icing on the cake? A message from The King and Queen, followed by a very special experience as a guest at Trooping the Colour last Saturday making this a truly unforgettable centenary celebration.
The photos shared with us capture some lovely moments: Armorel looking radiant as she marks her 100th birthday, surrounded by flowers, cards and her wonderful family, a joyful reflection of a life so richly lived.
🎉 Many congratulations, Armorel, on your 100th birthday. What an inspiration you are to our whole school community!
