Over the next few months a few of our teachers will be reading you their favourite stories with illustrations from our amazing pupils! First up is Nursery Manager, Suzanne Roberts. She joins us from our new Nursery room ‘The Den’ and reads ‘Doing the Animal Bop’, written by Jan Ormerod and illustrated by Lindsey Gardiner.

As for the rest of the UK, 2021 is starting differently to how we might have imagined at Burgess Hill Girls. We were so excited to welcome everyone back after the Christmas break! But we completely understand the need for a new National lockdown and must put the disappointment behind us and welcome the new challenges that 2021 brings.

We are delighted to support the work of St Peter and St James Hospice based in Wivelsfield Green. Their fantastic work provides local support and health care to families and patients in a time in their lives when they need some extra help.

The Scholars’ Concert 2020 marks a very significant year in the life of the school. With remote teaching and the need for specific year group bubbles making music has definitely tested our creativity.
