Tree Planting 2021

Mental Health Awareness Week

Burgess Hill Girls is embracing National Mental Health Awareness Week, which runs from 10th – 16th May with a theme of ‘Nature’. A wide range of nature themed activities, a programme of visiting speakers and the launch of our own mindfulness film, ‘Nature of Burgess Hill Girls’ are all planned.

Springtime Celebration

It has now been over a year since coronavirus restrictions were put in place and the pupils and staff at Burgess Hill Girls have desperately missed many of the school events that bring their community together throughout the year. So, on the last day of the Spring Term, before everyone broke up for the Easter holidays, Burgess Hill Girls decided to organise a special celebration, a Springtime Charity Event.

Jutta Joins NYO Inspire

Sixth Former Jutta has been invited to join NYO Inspire, an initiative set-up by the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain to provide orchestra opportunities to talented teenage musicians who are underrepresented in the sector due to their educational background or ethnicity. They work with over 700 musicians across the UK who play at Grade 6+ standard.
