On Friday 24th March 2017 the boarding community came together to perform in the annual Boarders Performing Arts Competition. After weeks of rehearsals we had three performances from Silverdale East, Silverdale West and Avondale houses.
The girls in boarding had written their own scripts, designed the set and costumes in order to give three very different performances. Silverdale East presented the audience with a futuristic theme, we had an appearance from Hercules and other Greek mythological characters from Silverdale West. Avondale then took up aboard a cruise ship for a murder mystery tale full of some very dramatic and moving scenes. The 6th form girls really took a lead for each of the houses, and for their hard work and patience deserve huge congratulations.
Well done to absolutely every member of the Boarding Community who took part. It was fantastic! We very much look forward to next year.
