Burgess Hill Girls Junior and Senior Ski Team competed in the Independent Ski School Championships held in Les Deux Alps before Christmas. Fourteen schools took part in the competition with over 180 students competing in the Giant, Individual and Parallel Slalom. Burgess Hill Girls took a team of fourteen girls who all competed really well. The girls have been training hard throughout the year and have really benefited from the Impulse Ski Race Training.

Congratulations to Georgina H who won double gold in the Giant and Individual Slalom in the U9 category, with Eve S claiming both silver medals in these event.

Annabel H performed exceptionally well picking up a silver medal in the Giant Slalom and Bronze in the Individual Slalom in the U16 age category.

The girls will now continue with their training and some are heading out to Flaine for the British School Girls Racing Competition at the end of the month. This is an exciting time for Burgess Hill Girls Ski Team and is going for strength to strength. If you are interested in joining the Ski Team please do not hesitate to contact Miss Clapp at school.
