Mrs Clayson, Mrs Wood (teaching assistant) and Dr Hogan (parent helper) took the girls from Penguin class to visit the Brighton & Hove Toy Museum on the 2nd February. It was the girl’s very first school trip and the class were all very excited! We spent the morning being looked after by Karen Antoni, who showed us lots of toys that children would have played with and loved from many years ago; old bears, china dollies, skittles, mechanical wind up tin soldiers and many more. We even spent time investigating a gallery filled with lots of toys from the past. When we returned to school we wrote about our school outing. Adele thought that the best par of the outing was going on the minibus with Paul the driver and Charlotte’s favourite toy was the old rabbit. We also made our own peg dollies just like the ones on display in the museum.
