Friday 17th March 2017 saw the Senior School girls take part in the ‘Health and Fitness Day’ organised by the PE Department. It was a huge success. All girls were involved and worked tirelessly all morning. Each year group followed a different timetable of various activities including Lacrosse, Football, Tag Rugby, Netball Hockey, Basketball, Core and Flexibility sessions as well as a running session. The girls ran circuits of the school to see how many laps they could do in 30 minutes.
Well done to the following girls who ran the most laps:
Year 7 – Emily H
Year 8 – Jessica F & Rosie B
Year 9 Georgie W & Jessica E
After a nice healthy lunch, Year 7 and half of Year 8 walked to Batchelors Farm where some enjoyed a game of Frisbee whilst others relaxed in the sun. Year 9 and the other half of Year 8 walked to Ditchling Common and again enjoyed the sun and played games on the common.
It was a very enjoyable day.
