This week we had a very special visitor to our Nursery. Matilda (Tilly) the 7 month old Labradoodle first visited us when she was just 3 months old…the children were astonished by how much she had grown. The visit gave the children the opportunity to ask lots of questions. We discovered that Tilly likes cucumber, she has two long walks every day, she has hair not fur (so is very good for people with allergies).
They also discovered that Tilly goes to classes to learn things, just like them and gets rewards for being good ( not stickers though! She gets Doggy treats!)
Exposing the children to visits such as these gives wonderful opportunities for conversation and interaction and to discover the world about them.
