Burgess Hill Girls has been presented with a Crystal Award after being named one of an elite group of ‘Top 20 Girls Boarding Schools based on their outstanding A Level results’.
Miss Donson, Assistant Head Boarding and Pastoral, was joined by some of the school’s boarders to celebrate the good news.
Burgess Hill Girls accepts full boarders from Year 7 and accommodates some 50 students from all over the world and other regions of the UK.
Miss Donson said: ‘We are delighted to have received this award which celebrates our outstanding examination results, with over half our boarding students achieving top A or A* grades at A Level. We also place great value on the warm, nurturing atmosphere we have created in our boarding houses for our family of students. They are informally run, creating an atmosphere of a happy family home.’
