On Wednesday 23rd January, Burgess Hill Girls was represented at the Rotary Club Young Musician of the Year Competition. Daisy Hogan, Lucy Leete, Mia Arditi, Emma Naunton and Amélie Earl-Hulse all took part in this competition alongside other students from Burgess Hill Academy and St Paul’s Catholic College. We are very proud of all the girls for taking part, but particularly proud of Daisy Hogan who was the youngest competitor and won the award for ‘Most Promising Instrumentalist’ with her rendition of ‘The Parson’s Nose’ on her trombone. Well done everyone.
