Rambling for Children in Need

Posted: 5th December 2019

On a very wet and windy Friday 104 girls from Burgess Hill Girls created their version of the Country File Ramble for children in need. They walked 8.6miles starting from Clayton village walking up the Downs to Jack and Jill and along the top finishing by the prison in Lewes. Dressed in Pudsey Suits, waterproofs, hats and wellies, the girls were spurred on by the BBC Rickshaw challenge earlier in the month, despite some finding the distance a challenge all girls completed the walk. Thanks to the generosity of the school community the grand total of £5,580.82 was raised.
