Kirstin is now classed as a POYS Grand Prix Champion and was told by one of the judges in the 1m Classic Final “…it was the most controlled jump off, and the most level headed and professional round he had ever seen on a young pony”. Silver the pony is only 5! Having rode 16 classes over 4 days, needless to say, Kirstin was very tired but was happy with how it paid off: “It was fantastic to return to POYS for the second time. Top young riders from all over the country came to compete. It’s an incredible environment to ride in, with five full-on days of competition. It was amazing to come away with two big wins! Next I am off to Weston Lawns in Coventry and hopefully I can come away with some more good results!”
Head Liz Laybourn says “Such a brilliant achievement that has clearly come about through an immense amount of hard work and dedication. Kirstin, there is no end to your ability and talents. A huge well done from all at Burgess Hill Girls!”
