Alison worked as a GP on the south coast for 32 years before retiring in 2013. That was when she joined the Governing body of Burgess Hill Girls wanting to give something back after her two daughters had such a wonderful experience at the school.
She became Chair in 2016 and has loved the close contact with the school and the girls the role has given her. To see young people grow and develop over their school life is a huge privilege.
