Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of PE to teach a broad and challenging curriculum to Years 7 to 13. The successful candidate should have a proven playing background and be able to demonstrate the ability to coach to a high standard in two of the following sports: athletics; hockey; netball; volleyball; cricket. The ability or capacity to deliver academic PE lessons to GCSE and A Level standard would be an advantage. They will have a passion for sport and be able to lead school teams to county or regional level. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an inspirational team at a school that prides itself on its sporting activities. We have an extensive co-curricular programme and there is an expectation that all members of the team will commit to this. This role would suit an Early Careers Teacher or someone with more experience looking to develop their career in a flourishing department.

Candidates will be required to teach a short lesson on a topic to be decided, complete a relevant task, and attend an interview. They will also meet with key staff and be offered a tour of the School.
