head of sixth form

Required from April or September 2018

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead the Sixth Form of this high performing school. The successful candidate will have a good track record in preparing students for higher education and will support the students’ personal development through an enriched Sixth Form experience.

The candidate will also be required to teach some lessons and all subject areas will be considered.

The Head of Sixth Form is line managed by the Head and works alongside the Assistant Head Academic and Assistant Head Pastoral and Boarding to provide an outstanding quality product. The role carries a management allowance.

With few exceptions, all students go on to Higher Education.   The excellent A Level results achieved by our students ensure that most gain entry to their first choice university.

Head of English

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Head of English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead an enthusiastic English Department in this excellent and high performing school, to commence either April or September 2018.

The successful candidate will be motivated and aspirational and will work with the department in promoting a love of English both inside and outside the classroom. You will teach English Language and English Literature throughout the Senior School and English Literature at A level.

Teaching Application form

Nursery Supervisor

Required from January 2018, full time position

We currently have an opportunity for an inspiring, experienced and highly motivated individual to join our ‘Outstanding’ School Nursery as one of our 3 room Supervisors.   You will work as part of our excellent Nursery Team and with parents/carers to provide a stimulating, creative and safe environment for the children and promote the learning development of each child.   Our Supervisors work for 7 hours a day Monday to Friday on either an early or late shift between the hours of 7.30am and 6.30pm.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have an excellent working knowledge of the EYFS along with a Level 3 qualification in childcare.   You will also have a good track record and experience of working with 3-4 year olds, be able to deliver a high standard of care and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will also be willing to prepare and run extra curricular activities such as sports days and celebratory activities.

bank nursery assistants required

Required from January 2018

We currently have opportunities for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our ‘Outstanding’ School Nursery as Bank Staff.

You will work as part of our excellent Nursery Team and with parents/carers to provide a stimulating, creative and safe environment for the children and promote the learning development of each child. The nursery is staffed between the hours of 7.30am to 6.30pm for 51 weeks of the year and we are looking for suitably qualified individuals who are potentially available to work between the hours stated on a 7 hour day – either an early or late start. Shifts will mainly be required during our School term time but may occasionally also be required during our School holiday periods when the nursery is also open.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have an excellent working knowledge of the EYFS along with at least a Level 2 qualification in childcare. You will also have previous experience of working with 2½ to 4 year olds, be able to deliver a high standard of care with excellent interpersonal skills.
